Mike Stewart - Serenity CDSerenity is the culmination of nearly three years study and performance in New York with some of the finest jazz musicians on the planet.

The session was organised and produced by internationally acclaimed trumpet virtuoso Jon Faddis and featured three of the most in-demand jazz musicians in New York - Renee Rosnes piano, Todd Coolman bass and Lewis Nash drums.

It was recorded at Bennetts studios, one of the most popular jazz recording studios in the New York area and was engineered and mixed by Dae Bennett (son of famed vocalist Tony Bennett) on December 20th 2005 and mastered in Sydney at Studio 301 in August 2006.

The end result is a strong, hard swinging record with a wonderful spirit superb sonic quality. The compositions featured are either Mike's own original compositions written during his stay in New York, or are arrangements of standards written specifically for this session.
